Aphid parasitoid wasp for potato aphid
Potato aphid is not a workable host. In the literature reviewed by Prado and colleagues, colemani will sting potato aphid but cannot complete its development in it, and it is not an effective control for foxglove aphid either. The related, larger Aphidius ervi is sold for these species. Listed here because it is a common substitution mistake; where both small and large aphids are present, suppliers sell colemani–ervi mixes.
