Aphid parasitoid wasp for black bean aphid
Black bean aphid is not on Koppert's list for this wasp, but lab studies show colemani stings it and develops inside it. Black bean aphids can carry the symbiont Hamiltonella defensa, which protects them against parasitoids, so results are less reliable than on melon or green peach aphid. Treat it as a greenhouse supplement, with the gall midge on established colonies; outdoors, rely on wild hoverflies and ladybirds.
