Aphid parasitoid wasp for potato aphid
Potato aphid is the first species Koppert sells this wasp for, alongside foxglove aphid, and in lab tests potato aphid was among its best hosts, with 71–90% of stung aphids producing adult wasps. It kills by feeding as well as by laying eggs, and tolerates heat up to 35 °C, which makes it the summer partner to Aphidius ervi. It walks rather than flies, so release it close to the colonies and expect the first black mummies about two weeks after the first release.
