Trichogramma wasps for cross-striped cabbageworm

Trichogramma spp. · egg parasitoid wasp
Against cross-striped cabbageworm

Cross-striped cabbageworm lays its eggs in clusters, and UMass passes on a supplier's view (Evergreen Growers Supply) that Trichogramma work better against moths with clustered eggs, so releases may suit farms where this pest has been a problem. That is a supplier claim rather than a trial result. UMass also cautions that they parasitise non-target caterpillars, so take care if you keep wildflowers that might attract endangered moths or butterflies.
