Mealybug parasitoid wasp for citrus mealybug

Anagyrus vladimiri · parasitoid wasp
Against citrus mealybug

Citrus mealybug is on both Koppert's and Biobest's labels. Start at the first signs of mealybugs, not once colonies are heavy. Each female lays only 25–50 eggs, so the wasp builds slowly, and the first yellow-brown mummies appear after 2–3 weeks. On heavy hot spots, both suppliers pair it with the mealybug destroyer. Control ants first, because ants tending the honeydew stop the wasps from parasitising.

Before you order

Released as mummies, the parasitised mealybugs the adult wasps emerge from. Each female lays one egg inside a mealybug nymph or adult. Used early and at low rates, alongside the mealybug destroyer rather than instead of it.
